HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Microbladed eyebrows last 1 to 3 years for most clients before it usually needs a touch-up. This will vary depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.

DOES IT HURT?

Most clients say they feel little to minimal pain, sometimes even no pain. Topical numbing anesthetic is applied prior (and during if needed) so you can feel at ease throughout the duration of the appointment.

HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE?

A microblading sessions consists of a consultation the day of, where we review your lifestyle and daily/monthly brow maintenance.  We then map the brows according to your facial structure to have a beautiful balanced proportion. Once you agree with the artist on the perfect brow shape, we will do a color assessment to choose the best pigment. Then the microblading process begins to create the hair-like strokes. The entire session usually takes a total of 2.5-3 hours.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?

You'll be able to wear your new brows back to brunch! In the first 7-10 days, you'll need to avoid getting them too wet (avoid face directly in the shower), working out heavily (intense sweating), being in major sun for extended periods of time, or wearing brow makeup (for 10 days). You might experience some flaking throughout the brows in the first 2-7 days especially if you have dryer skin. Please see aftercare for more details.

WHEN SHOULD I GET A TOUCH UP?
HOW MUCH IS IT?

The first touch-up should be scheduled 4-8 weeks (regular microblading), and 6-8 weeks (nano-brows) after your initial new brow appointment. This initial touch-up has a $100 booking fee (to cover disposable tools, pigment, numbing & the artists time). After then, we charge touch-up’s based on how long it’s been since your last appointment with us. See the main Microblading page for pricing.

WHO IS INELIGIBLE FOR MICROBLADING?

The original microblading-only technique is not recommended for those with excessively oily skin or very large pores. The good news is that nano-brows (machine strokes) is a newer technique that is well suited for oily skin and more mature skin that would historically not be the ideal candidate. Your artist will consult with you the day of your appointment, and can adjust to a different technique if needed. We do not provide microblading for people:

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • If you have glaucoma or skin diseases such as shingles, psoriasis or eczema ON the area of treatment

  • Keloid disorder, HIV/Hepatitis, skin cancer, hemophilia, or if you're taking skin medications like roaccutane and steroids

  • If you’re under the age of 18 (illegal in CA for minors to microblade)
